He has a BS in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering from İstanbul Technical University. Bora Uygun is a 4x successful, technical entrepreneur, and Silicon Valley angel investor. By 2012 he has launched and sold four successful software companies in Turkey: an ISP, a digital media agency, a music/movie marketplace, and a game studio. In 2011 he started angel investing in Silicon Valley, NYC and London. He is named one of the top 100 Angel Investors in the world by Business Insider in 2021 and he is the only Turkish/Canadian in that list of honors. He has founded his family fund, Bora&Sons and he is an early investor in Robinhood (Decacorn), Rescale (Unicorn), Carbon Health (Unicorn), Chooch AI (Unicorn), and completed 50+ investments and has had 9 exits so far. He brings a sharp technical background, seasoned operational edge, speed, and a non-complementary elite network as a sought-after strategic investor in exclusive deals. He received a Ph.D. in Information Technologies and is named a Professor from Portugal.
