Dr. Gönül Çulha Özsoy has nearly 26 years of experience in banking, financial auditing, corporate governance, risk management, and operations. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Faculty of Political Sciences at Ankara University, a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from Istanbul Bilgi University, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Altınbaş University.

She is licensed by the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye (CMB) for Capital Markets Activities Level 3, Derivative Instruments, Credit Rating, and Corporate Governance Rating.

Dr. Özsoy began her professional career as an Assistant Auditor at the Turkish Court of Accounts and subsequently served as a Sworn Bank Auditor at the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) between 2001 and 2009.

In 2009, she joined Arap Türk Bankası A.Ş., where she served as Director of Internal Systems (2009–2015), Director of Financial Institutions (2016), and Group Head of Operations (2022–2026).

Throughout her career, she has built extensive expertise in internal control and audit systems, corporate governance, operational management, financial institutions, regulatory compliance, and risk management, combining the strengths of public sector oversight with private sector banking experience.

Since September 2025, Dr. Özsoy has been providing advisory services in finance, banking, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), business development, and international trade. Since November 2025, she has served as a Business Partner at Dinamo Consulting and an Official Partner of M&A World.
